Ingredients

Units Scale

Biscuit Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk

Sausage Gravy:

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or chicken)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Toppings:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk (for eggs)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: sliced green onions, cooked bacon crumbles, or jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Prepare Biscuit Crust:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until the mixture is crumbly. Stir in milk to form a dough. Roll out to fit a 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet. Bake for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Cook Sausage Gravy:
In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly, until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Scramble Eggs:
Whisk eggs with ¼ cup milk, salt, and pepper. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until just set.
  4. Assemble Pizza:
Spread sausage gravy over the partially baked crust. Top with scrambled eggs, shredded cheeses, and optional toppings.
  5. Bake Pizza:
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve and Enjoy:
Slice and serve warm. Garnish with additional toppings if desired.

Notes

  • For a shortcut, use pre-made biscuit dough or a store-bought pizza crust.
  • Add veggies like sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C).
