  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak Bites:
  2. Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the steak bites in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium, then add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in the garlic and thyme. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Return the steak to the skillet and toss to coat. Remove from heat.
  6. Make the Parmesan Cream Sauce:
  7. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Gradually whisk in the heavy cream, allowing the mixture to thicken, about 2-3 minutes.
  9. Stir in Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until smooth, then remove from heat.
