Description

A classic and delicious dish featuring tender chicken breasts stuffed with Swiss cheese and ham, then coated in seasoned bread crumbs and baked to perfection.

Ingredients

– nonstick cooking spray

– 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

– 6 slices Swiss cheese

– 4 slices cooked ham

– 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then layer each with a slice of Swiss cheese and a slice of ham.

3. Roll up the chicken breasts and secure with toothpicks if necessary.

4. Coat the chicken in seasoned bread crumbs and place in the prepared baking dish.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.

6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

– For a healthier version, use lean ham and reduced-fat Swiss cheese.

– Add a creamy sauce on top before serving for an extra burst of flavor.
