Description

A yogurt parfait is a beautifully layered combination of creamy Greek yogurt, crunchy granola, and fresh fruit. It’s the perfect balance of textures and flavors, making it an ideal choice for breakfast, a midday snack, or even a light dessert. Ready in just 5 minutes, this wholesome treat is as easy as it is delicious!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (or any yogurt of choice)
  • 1/2 cup granola (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, mango, or banana)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 tbsp nuts & seeds (almonds, chia seeds, or flaxseeds, optional)
  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate or coconut flakes (optional, for a dessert-like twist)

Instructions

  1.  Gather Your Ingredients
  • Ensure your yogurt is cold, fruit is washed and chopped, and granola is ready.
  1. 2. Start Layering
  • In a glass or bowl, add a spoonful of Greek yogurt as the base.
  1. 3. Add Crunch & Sweetness
  • Sprinkle a layer of granola, followed by a layer of fresh fruit.
  1. 4. Repeat & Finish with Toppings
  • Continue layering until the top.
  • Drizzle with honey or maple syrup, and add optional toppings like nuts or coconut flakes.
  1. 5. Serve Immediately
  • Parfaits are best enjoyed fresh while the granola is still crispy!

Notes

  • Keep the Granola Crunchy – If meal prepping, store the granola separately and add it just before serving.
  • Use a Variety of Fruits – Mixing tart and sweet fruits (like berries with bananas) enhances flavor balance.
  • Chill Before Serving – Let your parfait sit in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to meld flavors.
