Instructions
- Prepare the mix base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Corn CHEX cereal, Cheerios, mini pretzel twists, dry roasted salted peanuts, and 2 cups of M&M’s candies. Mix gently until evenly distributed.
- Melt the coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the 24 ounces of vanilla almond bark candy coating in increments of 30 seconds, stirring well after each interval until totally smooth and fully melted.
- Combine coating with mix: Pour the melted vanilla almond bark over the cereal and snack mixture. Use a spatula or large spoon to gently fold the coating into the mixture, ensuring all pieces are thoroughly coated.
- Spread to set: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the coated snack mix evenly across the sheet to allow it to set and harden.
- Add garnish: While the coating is still slightly warm but beginning to firm, sprinkle the remaining up to ½ cup of M&M’s candies evenly on top for a colorful, festive finish.
