Description

This Tiramisu Espresso Martini brings the beloved flavors of tiramisu into a delicious cocktail. With a blend of espresso, coffee liqueur, vodka, and creamy mascarpone, this drink is smooth, slightly sweet, and wonderfully indulgent. Perfect as an after-dinner treat or for special occasions.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa)
  • 1 oz freshly brewed espresso (or strong coffee), chilled
  • 1/2 oz Irish cream liqueur (optional for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tsp mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Martini Glass: Chill your martini glass by filling it with ice or placing it in the freezer.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, add vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, Irish cream liqueur (if using), mascarpone cheese, and simple syrup.
  3. Shake It Up: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well mixed and frothy.
  4. Strain and Serve: Remove the ice from your chilled martini glass. Strain the cocktail into the glass to create a smooth, creamy finish.
  5. Garnish: Dust with cocoa powder or sprinkle chocolate shavings on top for an extra touch of tiramisu flavor.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use freshly brewed espresso, or make strong coffee if espresso isn’t available.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup according to your taste.
  • Swap out the vodka for a coffee-flavored vodka if you want an even stronger coffee profile.
