This Thai Spice Sweet Tea is a unique blend of traditional Thai spices and sweet flavors, perfect for a refreshing drink on a hot day.

- 4 1/4 cups water
- 4 cardamom pods
- 3 whole star anise
- 3 whole cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon tamarind paste (optional)
- 1/3 cup white sugar, or to taste
- 5 bags rooibos tea
- 2 bags black tea
- 3/4 cup coconut milk, blended smooth
Instructions
- Prepare Spice Infusion: In a pot, combine water, cardamom pods, star anise, cloves, cinnamon, and tamarind paste. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add Sweetness: Stir in sugar until dissolved. Remove from heat.
- Brew Tea: Add rooibos and black tea bags to the spice-infused water. Steep for 5 minutes, then remove tea bags.
- Finish with Coconut Milk: Stir in blended coconut milk. Serve hot or cold.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness level by adding more or less sugar according to your preference.
- For a creamier texture, use full-fat coconut milk instead of blended coconut milk.
