Description

Taco Tortilla Roll Ups are a fun, easy-to-make snack or appetizer filled with flavorful taco ingredients like seasoned beef, creamy cheese, and fresh veggies. These bite-sized roll-ups are perfect for parties, game nights, or as an after-school snack!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup salsa (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and water. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla.
  4. Spoon the taco meat evenly over the cheese mixture, followed by the chopped green onions, bell peppers, and shredded lettuce.
  5. Carefully roll up each tortilla tightly, securing the filling inside.
  6. Slice the rolled tortillas into 1-inch thick pieces.
  7. Arrange the roll-ups on a serving platter and serve with salsa for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with chicken, turkey, or even black beans for a vegetarian option.
  • For a spicy kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • These roll-ups can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours before serving.
