Description

This Sweet Potato Casserole Dessert is a delicious and comforting dish perfect for the holidays. Creamy sweet potatoes are topped with a crunchy pecan streusel topping, creating the perfect balance of flavors and textures.


Ingredients

– 4 1/2 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes

– 1 cup white sugar

– 1/2 cup butter, melted

– 1/3 cup milk

– 2 eggs, beaten

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 cup light brown sugar

– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

– 1/3 cup butter

– 1 cup chopped pecans


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, white sugar, melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

3. In another bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour, and butter until crumbly. Stir in chopped pecans and sprinkle over the sweet potato mixture.

4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.


Notes
