Description

Fruit

  • 2 1/2 cups peaches, peeled and sliced (about 3 peaches)
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries

Syrup

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine oats, brown sugar, flour, melted butter, and cinnamon in a bowl to make the topping.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix peaches and strawberries, then transfer to a baking dish.
  4. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch, water, salt, and vanilla extract to make the syrup.
  5. Pour the syrup over the fruit mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the topping over the fruit.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes
