Description

Steak and Seafood Skillet with Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce is an impressive yet easy-to-make dish. This flavorful skillet meal combines juicy steak, tender shrimp, and a rich, creamy garlic parmesan sauce that coats each bite in savory goodness. Perfect for date night or a special occasion, this meal is sure to wow anyone who tries it!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 boneless ribeye steaks (or your preferred cut)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 12 oz (340g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) white wine or chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Steaks:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (or to your preferred doneness). Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside to rest.
  2. Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside with the steaks.
  3. Make the Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the white wine (or chicken broth) to deglaze the pan, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom. Reduce the liquid by half, then stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine the Steaks and Shrimp:
Return the steaks and shrimp to the skillet, spooning the garlic parmesan cream sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, just to heat everything through.
  5. Serve:
Slice the steaks against the grain and serve with the shrimp. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges for a burst of freshness.

Notes

  • You can substitute the shrimp for scallops or other seafood depending on your preference.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the garlic parmesan cream sauce.
  • Serve with a side of roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad for a complete meal.
