Description

This Spicy Avocado Dip is a creamy and flavorful dip that packs a punch with jalapeño peppers and red pepper flakes. Perfect for dipping chips or veggies!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe avocados, peeled, seed removed
  • 1/2 medium red onion, roughly chopped
  • 2 medium jalapeño peppers, roughly chopped
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice, about 1 1/2 medium limes
  • 35 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare Avocados: Peel and remove the seeds from the avocados.
  2. Blend Ingredients: In a food processor, combine avocados, red onion, jalapeño peppers, lime juice, water, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust salt, lime juice, or red pepper flakes as needed.
  4. Serve: Transfer to a serving bowl, stir in fresh cilantro, and serve with chips or veggies.

Notes

  • You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less jalapeño peppers and red pepper flakes.
  • For a smoother dip, blend in a little more water until desired consistency is reached.
