Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 bottle (750ml) chilled champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to sweetness preference)
  • 1/2 cup club soda or sparkling water
  • Orange and lemon slices, for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, orange juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  2. Gently muddle the strawberries with a muddler or spoon to release their juices.
  3. Add the chilled champagne (or sparkling wine) and club soda. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Add ice cubes and garnish with additional fresh orange and lemon slices, and mint leaves.
  5. Serve immediately in glasses, topped with a few more mint leaves for an extra touch.

Notes

  • If you want to make this ahead of time, prepare the strawberry mixture and refrigerate it, then add the champagne and club soda just before serving.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the champagne with sparkling water and add more simple syrup for sweetness.
  • You can also add a splash of elderflower liqueur for an additional layer of flavor
