- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (5 pound) rump roast
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a slow cooker, mix water, Italian dressing mix, oregano, basil, parsley, onion salt, garlic powder, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
- Add Roast: Place the rump roast in the slow cooker and coat it with the mixture.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, until the beef is tender.
- Shred and Serve: Remove the bay leaf, shred the beef, and serve with the cooking liquid.
