Description

This Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy is an effortless comfort meal made with tender chicken breasts slow-cooked in a rich, flavorful gravy. Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Pour over the chicken and cover. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine.
  5. (Optional) Mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp of water and stir in. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes to thicken.
  6. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits, and garnish with parsley.
