- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions
- Prepare the Beef: Slice the beef chuck roast into thin strips.
- Mix the Sauce: In the slow cooker, combine beef consomme, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and minced garlic.
- Cook: Add the beef strips to the slow cooker and cook on low for several hours until the beef is tender.
- Add Broccoli: In the last hour of cooking, add frozen broccoli florets to the slow cooker.
- Thicken Sauce: In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- Serve: Once the broccoli is tender and the sauce is thickened, serve the beef and broccoli over rice or noodles.

- You can add additional vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra color and flavor.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sriracha sauce to the sauce mixture.
