Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (lean, 80/20 or 85/15)
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Soft hamburger buns or brioche buns (to serve)

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook 1 pound ground beef until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess grease and add ½ cup diced onion and 1 minced garlic clove. Sauté for 2 minutes.
