Ingredients

– 1 (16 ounce) package frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed

– 1/4 cup butter, melted

– 5 eggs, lightly beaten

– 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

– 1 cup cooked ham, diced

– 1/4 cup milk

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Press the thawed hash brown potatoes into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-inch pie dish. Drizzle melted butter over the potatoes and bake for 25 minutes.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the beaten eggs, Swiss cheese, ham, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the baked hash brown crust.

3. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (180°C) and bake the quiche for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

– You can customize this quiche by adding in your favorite vegetables such as bell peppers, onions, or spinach.

– For a healthier version, you can use turkey bacon or chicken sausage instead of ham.
