Description

This Scalloped Pineapple Souffle is a delicious and fluffy dessert that combines the sweetness of pineapple with a light and airy texture. It’s the perfect treat for any occasion!


Ingredients

– 3 eggs, whites and yolks separated

– 1 1/2 cups white sugar

– 1/2 cup butter

– 1/2 cup milk

– 1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

– 3 cups cubed bread


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then stir in the milk and add the egg yolk mixture.

4. Fold in the drained crushed pineapple and cubed bread.

5. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the pineapple mixture.

6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown on top.

7. Serve warm and enjoy!


Notes

– For a tropical twist, try adding shredded coconut to the mixture before baking.
