Description

This savory beefy noodle dish is a comforting, crowd-pleasing meal perfect for family gatherings. Tender beef, flavorful sauce, and hearty noodles come together in a recipe that’s easy to prepare yet packed with rich, satisfying flavors

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks. Cook until browned and fully cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and stir until well combined.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the mixture and cover the skillet. Cook on low heat until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Substitute ground beef with ground turkey or plant-based ground meat for a lighter or vegetarian version.
  • Add a splash of Worcestershire sauce for deeper flavor.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in a skillet or microwave.
