- 1 (17.3 oz. box) puff pastry sheets
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/3 cup yellow onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb. ground pork sausage
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 eggs, divided
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon water or milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the filling: In a skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the onions and garlic until softened. Add the ground pork sausage and cook until browned. Remove from heat and stir in breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, 1 beaten egg, Dijon mustard, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble the rolls: Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut into rectangles. Divide the filling among the rectangles and roll up, sealing the edges with a beaten egg wash.
- Bake: Brush the rolls with egg wash and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving and enjoy!
