Roasted Garlic:

    • 1/2 cup roasted garlic cloves

Alfredo Sauce Mixture:

    • 1 (16.9-ounce) jar prepared Alfredo sauce
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
    • 3 tbsp butter
    • 4 oz mushrooms, sliced
    • 1/2 cup minced onions
    • 1 1/4 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, chopped

Soup Base:

  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 10 lasagna noodles, cooked and broken into pieces
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare Roasted Garlic: Roast garlic cloves and set aside.
  2. Make Alfredo Sauce Mixture: In a pot, sauté mushrooms and onions, then add chicken, Alfredo sauce, and flour mixture. Cook until chicken is no longer pink.
  3. Prepare Soup Base: Add chicken stock, half and half, seasonings, parmesan cheese, and cooked lasagna noodles. Simmer until flavors meld.
  4. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
