  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the cherries: Toss the halved cherries with a sprinkle of sugar and set aside.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, egg yolk, melted butter, oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add dry ingredients: Sift in flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt. Mix until well combined.
