Easy to make and full of flavor, they’re the perfect handheld meal!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 slider buns (soft, like Hawaiian rolls)
  • 1 lb deli roast beef (thinly sliced)
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese (or provolone)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp prepared horseradish (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce:
    1. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, horseradish, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Assemble the sliders:
    1. Slice the slider buns in half and arrange the bottom halves in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
    2. Spread a generous amount of the horseradish sauce on each bun half.
    3. Layer the roast beef evenly across the bottom buns.
    4. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the roast beef, folding the slices to fit if necessary.
    5. Place the top halves of the buns on the sliders.
  3. Prepare the buttery topping:
    1. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir to combine.
    2. Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the assembled sliders.
  4. Bake the sliders:
    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    2. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the buns are golden brown.
  5. Serve:
    1. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can swap the Swiss cheese for cheddar, provolone, or another cheese of your choice.
  • For extra flavor, try adding pickles or caramelized onions inside the sliders.
  • If you prefer a spicier kick, increase the amount of horseradish or add a few dashes of hot sauce to the sauce
