Description

This Pizza Grilled Cheese is a fun, cheesy twist on the classic sandwich! It combines the gooey, comforting goodness of grilled cheese with the irresistible flavors of pizza. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a snack, this quick and easy recipe is sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike!


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread (white or sourdough works best)
  • 4 tablespoons butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 16 slices pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
  3. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet.
  4. Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on the unbuttered side of each slice.
  5. Layer 2 slices of mozzarella, 8 slices of pepperoni, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning (if using).
  6. Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
  7. Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Slice and serve warm with additional pizza sauce for dipping, if desired.
