Description

Pizza Burritos combine the flavors of pizza with the convenience of a burrito. These delicious handheld treats are filled with pizza sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and seasonings, wrapped in a flour tortilla, and baked until crispy.

    • 5 flour tortillas (soft taco size)
    • 1 cup pizza sauce
    • 1+ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 30+ pepperoni slices (or stuffings of choice)

Seasonings:

    • 3 tbsp butter (melted)
    • 1/3 tsp garlic powder
    • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
    • pinch of salt

Topping:

  • shredded parmesan

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  3. Fill Tortillas: Divide the mixture among the tortillas, spooning it into the center of each tortilla.
  4. Roll: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll up to enclose the filling.
  5. Bake: Place the burritos seam-side down on a baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve: Sprinkle with shredded parmesan before serving.

Notes

  • You can customize the fillings with your favorite pizza toppings such as bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, or olives.
  • For a spicy kick, add some crushed red pepper flakes to the filling mixture.
