Pecan Mixture:

- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp unsalted butter cubed
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk (NOT sweetened condensed milk)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Prepare Pecan Mixture: Arrange pecans on a baking sheet and toast in the oven until fragrant.
- Cook Praline Mixture: Combine sugars, butter, and milk in a saucepan. Cook until it reaches the soft-ball stage.
- Finish Pralines: Stir in vanilla, salt, and toasted pecans. Drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper and let cool.
