- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Using a round cutter, cut out circles (approximately 2-3 inches in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Use a smaller round cutter or the back of a knife to score a smaller circle inside each pastry round, being careful not to cut all the way through. Prick the center of each tart with a fork to prevent puffing.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spoon a small amount of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each tart. Spread evenly, avoiding the edges.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and top with your choice of optional toppings. Serve warm or at room temperature.
