Description

A bright and cheerful cocktail that captures the essence of sun-ripened peaches. This sweet and refreshing drink combines fresh peach flavors with complementary spirits and a touch of herbs for a perfectly balanced summer sipper.


Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka (or peach vodka)
  • 3 fresh peach slices (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 oz peach schnapps
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz honey syrup (equal parts honey and hot water, cooled)
  • 2 fresh basil leaves (plus more for garnish)
  • 2 oz prosecco
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. If desired, rim a coupe glass with peach sugar (mix sugar with peach drink powder).
  2. In a shaker, gently muddle fresh peach slices with basil leaves and honey syrup.
  3. Add vodka, peach schnapps, and lemon juice.
  4. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
  5. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
  6. Double strain into the prepared glass.
  7. Top with prosecco.
  8. Garnish with a fresh peach slice and basil sprig.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm peaches for best flavor
  • Double strain to remove fruit pulp
  • Can be made with frozen peaches when fresh aren’t available
  • For a stronger peach flavor, use peach vodka
  • Non-alcoholic version: Use peach nectar, honey syrup, and sparkling water
  • Can be batch-made for parties (add prosecco just before serving)
