Description

These Mozzarella Pepperoni Croissant Rolls are a delightful combination of buttery, flaky croissants stuffed with gooey mozzarella cheese and zesty pepperoni slices. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or quick meal that everyone will love!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 24 slices pepperoni (about 23 per roll)
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 8 sticks
  • 1/4 cup marinara or pizza sauce (optional, for dipping)
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    1. Separate the crescent roll dough into 8 triangles.
  3. Add Fillings:
    1. Place 2–3 slices of pepperoni on the wide end of each triangle. Top with a mozzarella stick.
  4. Roll and Seal:
    1. Starting at the wide end, roll the dough tightly around the fillings and press the edges to seal. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush with Butter Mixture:
    1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  6. Bake:
    1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve:
    1. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes inside the rolls.
  • Substitute the mozzarella with other cheeses like cheddar or provolone for a twist.
  • These rolls can be made ahead and reheated in the oven for 5–7 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
