Description

This Delicious Stuffed Chicken Breast is a perfect combination of juicy chicken and a flavorful, creamy filling. With spinach, cheese, and herbs stuffed inside each breast, it’s a deliciously satisfying dish that’s great for dinner or special occasions. It’s easy to make, packed with flavor, and sure to impress your family and guests alike!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Using a sharp knife, create a pocket in the side of each chicken breast by cutting horizontally through the thickest part, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  2. Make the filling: In a bowl, combine the spinach, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Stuff the chicken: Stuff each chicken breast with the spinach and cheese mixture, securing the opening with toothpicks if necessary.
  4. Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully add the stuffed chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  5. Finish in the oven: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and is cooked through.
  6. Serve and garnish: Remove the toothpicks and garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Serve with your favorite side dishes!

Notes

  • If you prefer a lighter option, you can substitute the cream cheese with Greek yogurt.
  • For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of lemon zest or a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving.
  • Ensure the chicken is cooked through by checking the internal temperature with a meat thermometer
