Description

This melt-in-your-mouth meatloaf is a classic comfort food dish that is sure to please the whole family. The combination of ground beef, breadcrumbs, and savory seasonings makes for a flavorful and tender meatloaf that is perfect for any night of the week.


Ingredients

– 3/4 cup milk

– 2/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs

– 2 large eggs

– 2 teaspoons dried minced onion

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage

– 1 1/2 pounds ground beef

– 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

Glaze:

– 1/4 cup ketchup

– 2 tablespoons brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon ground mustard

– 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce


Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine milk, bread crumbs, eggs, minced onion, salt, and sage. Let stand for 5 minutes.

2. Add ground beef and mushrooms to the breadcrumb mixture and mix well.

3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan.

4. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread over the meatloaf.

5. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through.

6. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
