Description

These KIT KAT Cream Cheese Brownies take classic fudgy brownies to the next level with a rich, chocolatey base, a creamy cheesecake swirl, and a crunchy surprise from KIT KAT bars. The perfect combination of textures and flavors makes this an indulgent treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Brownies
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powdera
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 11/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • Kit Kat bars (4 full-size packages)
  • CREAM CHEESE TOPPING
  • 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 16 oz package confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13 X 9 pan.
  2. Sift flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder in a medium bowl and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the microwave in a large plastic bowl. Stir in sugar. Then stir in eggs and add vanilla until mixed.
  4. Next add the dry ingredients. Stir until combined about 50 strokes.
  5. Pour into prepared pan. Gently press 16 individual Kit Kat bars on top of the brownie batter.
  6. To make the topping, beat cream cheese with a mixer until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time and mix until combined.
  7. Gradually add confectioners sugar and then vanilla and mix until smooth. Pour on top of brownie batter and Kit Kats.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes. The top will turn golden brown. You can place a sheet of aluminum foil on top of the pan for the last 10-15 minutes if the top starts to get to dark and the brownies aren’t done.
  9. Remove from oven and cool completely. Then chill in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

  • For Extra Crunch: Add more KIT KAT pieces on top before baking.
