Description

This Juicy Baked Firecracker Chicken recipe is a perfect combination of sweet and spicy flavors that will leave your taste buds wanting more. Tender chicken breasts are coated in a flavorful firecracker sauce, baked to perfection, and garnished with fresh green onions and parsley.


Ingredients

– 4 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless, about 1 1/2 lbs)

– Firecracker Sauce:

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, chopped

– 1/4 cup olive oil

– 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce

– 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

– 1 tablespoon hot sauce (such as Sriracha)

– 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

– Optional Garnish:

– 1 green onion, chopped

– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.

2. In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients for the firecracker sauce and cook over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.

3. Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish and pour the sauce over them, making sure they are evenly coated.
