Ingredients

– 6 (4 ounce) links sweet Italian sausage

– 2 tablespoons butter

– 1 medium yellow onion, sliced

– 1/2 medium red onion, sliced

– 4 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 large red bell pepper, sliced

– 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced

– 1 teaspoon dried basil

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/4 cup white wine, or more to taste


Instructions

1. In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausages over medium heat until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and slice into 1-inch pieces.

2. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the onions and garlic. Cook until the onions are translucent.

3. Add the sliced bell peppers, basil, and oregano to the skillet. Cook until the peppers are tender.

4. Return the sliced sausages to the skillet and pour in the white wine. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
