Honey Sesame Sauce:
- 1/3 cup pure honey
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Frying Batter: In a bowl, mix together the egg white, flour, cornstarch, baking powder, water, oil, and salt until well combined.
- Fry the Chicken: Heat oil in a pan for deep-frying. Dip the chicken pieces in the batter and fry until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Make the Honey Sesame Sauce: In a saucepan, combine honey, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, sesame oil, cornstarch, water, and salt. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Coat the Chicken: Toss the fried chicken in the honey sesame sauce until well coated.
- Serve: Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and serve hot.
