- 1 1/2 lb salmon, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
Honey Garlic Glaze:
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons chopped chives
Instructions
- Season Salmon: In a bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss salmon cubes in the spice mixture.
- Sear Salmon: Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon cubes until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Make Glaze: In the same skillet, heat the remaining olive oil and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame seeds, and chives. Simmer until thickened.
- Combine: Return the seared salmon to the skillet and coat with the honey garlic glaze.
- Serve: Garnish with extra sesame seeds and chives before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the glaze.
- Adjust honey based on desired sweetness level.
- Serve over rice or with a side of roasted vegetables.
