  • 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 14 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded and divided

Instructions

  1. Cook Noodles: Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Brown Beef: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with diced onions until cooked through. Drain off excess fat.
  3. Add Vegetables and Seasonings: Stir in frozen vegetables, garlic, Italian seasoning, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer Casserole: In a greased casserole dish, layer cooked noodles, beef mixture, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Repeat layers.
  5. Bake: Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle remaining cheese on top, and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
