Description

This Ham & Cheese Crescent Breakfast Casserole is a delicious and hearty dish perfect for breakfast or brunch. It features layers of cooked ham, cheddar and swiss cheese, and a creamy mixture of cream cheese, dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar, all baked in a flaky crescent roll crust.

Ingredients:

  • 16oz cooked ham, chopped
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 8oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1 (8-count) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 (4-count) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 Tbsp poppy seeds
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and onion powder until smooth.
  3. Unroll crescent rolls and press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  4. Layer ham on top of the crescent rolls, followed by cheddar and swiss cheese.
  5. Pour cream cheese mixture over the cheese layer.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk, then pour over the casserole.
  7. Sprinkle with poppy seeds and bake for 35-40 minutes until set and golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • This casserole can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning for a quick breakfast option.
