- 1 cup vodka (or any preferred liquor)
- 1 box (3 oz) orange-flavored Jell-O
- 1 box (3 oz) lime-flavored Jell-O
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup cold vodka (split between two flavors)
- Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)
- Halloween-themed candies (gummy worms, eyeballs, etc.)
Instructions
- Prepare the Orange Jello Layer:
- Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
- In a mixing bowl, add the orange-flavored Jell-O. Pour the boiling water over the Jell-O powder and stir until fully dissolved.
- Add ½ cup of cold water and ½ cup of vodka. Stir well.
- Pour the mixture into shot glasses, filling them halfway.
- Place them in the fridge to set for about 1-2 hours.
- Prepare the Lime Jello Layer:
- While the orange layer is setting, repeat the process for the lime-flavored Jell-O.
- Boil 1 cup of water, dissolve the lime Jell-O, then add ½ cup cold water and ½ cup vodka. Stir until combined.
- Once the orange layer has set, carefully pour the lime Jell-O mixture on top of the orange layer in the shot glasses.
- Return to the fridge to set for another 1-2 hours.
- Serve and Garnish:
- Once fully set, top with whipped cream and add Halloween-themed candies like gummy worms or candy eyeballs for extra spookiness.
- Serve chilled!
Notes
- You can replace vodka with other spirits like rum or tequila for a different flavor.
- To make non-alcoholic versions, simply replace the vodka with cold water or juice.
