- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
-

Instructions
- Prepare the Beef: Season the beef slices with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the beef until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until translucent. Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking until tender.
- Create the Sauce: Stir in Dijon mustard, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for a few minutes before adding the cream. Return the beef to the skillet and cook until heated through.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve the Beef Stroganoff hot over noodles or rice.
Notes
- You can substitute sour cream for heavy cream for a tangier flavor.
- Feel free to add a splash of white wine for extra depth of flavor.
- If the sauce is too thin, you can thicken it with a cornstarch slurry.
