  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can black beans drained
  • 1 can pinto beans drained
  • 1 cup beef or chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Sauté Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a large pot and sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened.
  2. Add Beef: Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Season: Stir in tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add Remaining Ingredients: Pour in crushed tomatoes, black beans, pinto beans, and broth. Simmer for 30-40 minutes.
  5. Serve: Ladle the chili into bowls and enjoy hot.

Notes
