Description
These gluten-free air fryer chicken nuggets are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They are seasoned with a flavorful blend of spices and coated in a crunchy panko breadcrumb mixture.

Chicken:
- 1 pound chicken breast
- 3 tablespoons gluten free all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Egg wash:
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk
Breading:
- 1 1/2 cups gluten free panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Old bay seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
- Season the chicken: In a bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken pieces in this mixture.
- Make the egg wash: Whisk together the eggs and non-dairy milk in a shallow bowl.
- Coat the chicken: Dip the seasoned chicken pieces in the egg wash, then coat them in the panko breadcrumb mixture.
- Air fry: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the breaded chicken nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Notes
- For extra crunch, spray the breaded nuggets with cooking spray before air frying.
- Adjust the seasoning to your preference by adding more or less of the spices.
