Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella

For the Dough:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Optional Garnish:

  • Sesame seeds or additional Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling:
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, ketchup, and mustard. Cook for 2-3 minutes until combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Mix in shredded cheese and set aside.
  5. Assemble the Cheeseburger Bombs:
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each piece into a circle.
  8. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the edges up and pinch to seal, forming a ball.
  9. Place the sealed side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  10. Bake the Bombs:
  11. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  12. Prepare the Garlic Butter:
  13. While the bombs bake, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley in a small bowl.
  14. Brush the baked bombs with the garlic butter immediately after removing them from the oven.
  15. Serve:
  16. Serve warm with dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or ranch dressing.

Notes

  • You can substitute the refrigerated biscuit dough with pizza dough or homemade dough.
  • Add a slice of pickles or jalapeños inside the filling for extra flavor.
