Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add Chicken Broth: Pour in the chicken broth and stir to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to slightly reduce the sauce.
- Combine: Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter sauce over them. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Swap chicken breasts for thighs if preferred; adjust cooking time accordingly.
- For extra creaminess, add a splash of heavy cream to the sauce.
- Serve with a side of crusty bread to soak up the sauce!
