Description

The Galaxy Cocktail is a mesmerizing, layered drink that captures the colors of the cosmos with shades of blue, purple, and pink. This drink combines fruit flavors with a splash of citrus, making it as delicious as it is beautiful. It’s a great addition to any themed event or simply for a night when you want to sip something unique.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • 1 oz grenadine
  • 2 oz lemonade
  • 1/2 oz cranberry juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Edible glitter (optional, for added sparkle)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Glass
Add ice cubes to a tall glass. If using edible glitter, add a pinch to the bottom of the glass for a shimmering effect.
  • Layer the Cocktail
Pour the blue curaçao over the ice. Slowly add the lemonade, letting it gently layer over the blue curaçao.
  • Add Grenadine and Cranberry Juice
Carefully pour the grenadine down the side of the glass; it will sink to the bottom, creating a red-to-blue gradient. Then add the cranberry juice for a hint of pink and purple hues.
  • Add Vodka
Pour the vodka on top to blend gently with the other colors.
  • Stir and Serve
Give the cocktail a gentle stir if desired, allowing the colors to swirl slightly without fully mixing. Enjoy your Galaxy Cocktail!

Notes

  • For Extra Sparkle: Add edible glitter to give your drink a sparkling, starry effect.
  • Mocktail Option: Replace the vodka and blue curaçao with blue raspberry-flavored sparkling water for a non-alcoholic version.
  • Serving Suggestion: Use a clear, tall glass to showcase the layered effect.
