For the Biscuit Bake:

  • Refrigerated Biscuits: 1 can (16 oz), quartered
  • Roast Beef: 3/4 lb, thinly sliced
  • Swiss Cheese: 8 slices (or 1 1/2 cups shredded)
  • Onion Soup Mix: 1 packet (divided)
  • Butter: 4 tbsp, melted
  • Garlic Powder: 1/2 tsp

For the Au Jus Sauce:

  • Beef Broth: 2 cups
  • Remaining Onion Soup Mix: Half of the packet

Instructions

1. Preheat & Prepare

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Assemble the Bake

  • Cut biscuits into quarters and arrange half in the bottom of the dish.
  • Layer with roast beef, Swiss cheese, and ½ of the onion soup mix.
  • Top with remaining biscuit pieces.

3. Add Butter & Bake

  • Mix melted butter and garlic powder, then brush over the biscuits.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.

4. Make the Au Jus

  • While baking, heat beef broth and remaining onion soup mix in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.

5. Serve & Enjoy

  • Let the bake cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve with au jus for dipping
