Scale
- 4 salmon fillets, skin on
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust for heat level)
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes, allowing the skin to crisp up.
- Flip the salmon and transfer the skillet to the oven. Roast for 6–8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork.
- While the salmon is cooking, prepare the Bang Bang sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice vinegar in a bowl.
- Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven. Spoon the Bang Bang sauce generously over each fillet.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve immediately with your favorite side dish.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil the salmon for the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Adjust the sriracha to control the spiciness level of the sauce.
- Serve with rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
