- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed French onion soup
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can beef broth
Serving:
- 9 French bread rolls
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Trim excess fat from rump roast.
- Cook in Slow Cooker: Place roast in slow cooker, pour beer, French onion soup, and beef broth over it. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- Prepare Au Jus: Strain and reserve liquid, skim off excess fat. Serve with toasted French bread rolls and butter on the side.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can add garlic, thyme, or Worcestershire sauce to the cooking liquid.
