Description

This Easy Slow Cooker French Dip recipe features tender rump roast cooked in a flavorful mix of beer, French onion soup, and beef broth, all served on crusty French bread rolls with a side of buttery au jus for dipping.

Main Ingredients:

    • 4 pounds rump roast
    • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
    • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed French onion soup
    • 1 (10.5 ounce) can beef broth

Serving:

  • 9 French bread rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Trim excess fat from rump roast.
  2. Cook in Slow Cooker: Place roast in slow cooker, pour beer, French onion soup, and beef broth over it. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  3. Prepare Au Jus: Strain and reserve liquid, skim off excess fat. Serve with toasted French bread rolls and butter on the side.

Notes
