Description

These Easy Saucy Ramen Noodles are a quick, comforting, and delicious meal ready in under 15 minutes. Tossed in a savory, slightly sweet sauce, this recipe takes instant ramen to the next level. Perfect for a busy day or when you crave something flavorful and satisfying!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 packs of instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (or hoisin sauce for a vegetarian option)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (plus extra for garnish)
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, fried egg, sautéed vegetables, or cooked protein

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the cooked noodles and pour the sauce over them.
  4. Toss the noodles in the sauce until evenly coated and heated through, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the chopped green onions.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds, extra green onions, or any desired toppings.

Notes

  • For extra protein, add cooked chicken, shrimp, tofu, or a fried egg.
  • Customize with your favorite vegetables, such as bell peppers, broccoli, or carrots.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more red pepper flakes or sriracha.
